I couldn't stand the battlegrounds in WoW; they felt so pointless and the classes were totally unbalanced. With respect to picking a class, I'm having the same problem, though not hating it quite as much. I've gotten a Warrior Priest up to 19, and then I have a White Lion, Bright Wizard and Swordmaster all sitting at 11. I think 11 is probably the lowest level you can judge decently at; you have your first morale ability and tactic; if you've been keeping up with renown ranks, you should have some decent green gear for the T1 scenarios; and you have a good selection of abilities. You should be able to tell the play style around there. It also doesn't take long to get to 11, and it's the level cap for T1 scenarios. I would warn you that the scenarios tend to be very different from my experience in T2. Classes that owned in T1 don't necessarily do as well in T2, and the inverse in certain cases. So don't base your decision on the gank/zergfest that is Nordenwatch most of the time. :) I think the problem I have is that I'm worried about classes not scaling to T4 / rank 40. Seems to me that hybrid classes in this game really don't hold up at high level. You either need to be able to DPS or heal really well, and the WP does neither from what I've heard in T4. I could already feel it starting to happen in T2 - my heals were pretty worthless and my damage was unspectacular. I was still very hard to kill, and I can solo in PvE like a machine... but this is a PvP game. Hence my switch to the Swordmaster for the time being. Need to specialize in order to PvP properly in WAR, IMO. Just my 2 brass coins. :) I think people really fall into two camps here.
