One server to rule them all
I’m looking for an Everquest II server to call home for a few months. End game guilds do not matter, my only request is a bustling server during evening pst times. I don’t have many readers, but it is worth a shot before taking the plunge. There has to be one reader out there who plays EQII and isn’t one of the millions already waiting for the next World of Warcraft expansion.

I play on Blackburrow (just dinged 22 woot), and it’s a pretty hustling server. During peak times I’ve noticed quite a bit of activity. As you say, I’m not sure how jumping things are going to be this month with BC out, but I like it a lot.
if you are looking for a pvp server, jump to nagafen. Full all the time.
I play on Befallen. Most of the Befallen raiding guilds raid EST prime time but there are a fair number of players in my guild that are west coast.
I used to play on Mistmoore. Mistmoore has both Euro and Asian guilds and was one of the few servers that was not merged because it had a high server population. Since then a lot of people have paid to transfer off to join raiding guilds on other servers. There is a good sized casual player community on Mistmoore though.
Antonia Bayle is roleplaying prefered server with high population.
Najena is the unofficial Aussie server so they should have a lot of late night pst players.
Thanks everyone, and thanks for the heads up, it is nice to know about the “unofficial servers.” I’ve narried it down to either Blackburrow or Permafrost and if it doesn’t work out on either of those I might jump into some pvp foray on Nagafen.
