SOE Rumors: SWG license vetoed, Koster flees, glazed donuts banned
A mole sends us word that Raph Koster has left the SOE to start up a new games studio. Cindy Armstrong, head of Business Development, has taken an offer to become the new USA honcho for Webzen. Moreover, Lucas Arts is not extending their Star Wars license. Yikes.
The rot has started to set in, and the mole implies that it’s only a matter of time before SOE’s prez. John Smedley is sent packing. “Place has been falling apart for a while,” writes our mole. “Smedley is not long in his job.” May the force be with you, John.
Rumors.. rumors.. dreams? errrr. rumors, but since these rumors originate from a somewhat credible news blog I’m helping spread the rumors to an additional large readership of five. Upon reading the news I thought I was duped and had to make sure it wasn’t April’s Fools Day. I’ve been looking for any press releases and or news bits regarding any of the mole’s accusations and have come across zilch, the day is still young. Someone call Jack Bauer.

haha, 8 subs, my retention is out of control, those readers are all disgruntled SOE employees anxiously waiting for me to announce when I will be attending a sanctioned SOE event. I’m sure the shenanigans will be a main encounter.
