/played, melting faces

The race is coming down to the wire, \insert running man music/ I hit 44 last night and I’m going to log on the server after I post this and push for 45. I’m sick in the head, I want to finish the competition and I don’t have too because I know I’ve already won, contestants have been dropping out likes flies, and the hardcores have gone to hit 50 already, I would estimate there are probably around 250 level 50 players, add another 50 plays in the upcoming days, that leaves a lot of beta slots open even if we give or take another 250.

I think even those players who are competing for level 40 by week’s end will win a beta slot, that will probably be the cut off and for the players who leveled up 3 alts to the glorious 25 mark will also be included in the winner’s circle, and maybe some with only 2 level 25 characters.. I still plan on trying to finish it out, because I’m a good levelsman’s man and don’t want to disappoint my fanbase, haha I’m messing, but yes, I’m going to keep leveling and see if I end up hitting 50 or not.

I’ve been playing World of Warcraft again for 3 months now, and my new main, a lock is level 44, um, with the priest I’ve reached the same point in levels as my warlock and I won’t be able to keep the priest. It would be nice to keep the priest, and transfer to the test server or even another server where more horde population might be needed.

I actually like playing a priest, it is a great dps class, and also one of the most needed classes being a key in the infamous holy trinity. Some of you may be happy to know I will toss out a little important thing called healing spells. As a priest I will also group if it benefits me or someone else who is on my friends list, but if this were a raiding competition or a normal server I wouldn’t raid with a priest, you would have to pay me with real money. I probably just made a thousand guild leaders cry.. Haha, I’m not going to stare at a screen full of bars waiting to up and down like some fucked up virtual teeter totter. I may do that now, in fact all of us may play that game in some fashion, but at least I can focus on something other than some bars in a non raid environment. I already have nightmares about tailoring in the last week, no way in hell I’m going to start waking up and screaming up SHIELD, damn you, SHIELD! The bar! Fuck you bar, you evil bar thing, bar! nrnrhgghhg bar! stay up, that right, I’m talking to you bar, do not turn purple or red dammit! damn you!!!

I melt faces with the priest, I plow, but it’s not the priest I knew in the beta, beta priest was much more powerful; you didn’t melt faces, you obliterated faces, more power equals more fun. I can plow as fast as hunter my own level, but since I have to drink a lot, yes downtime does exist, but at least it’s not one where you contemplate writing your life memoirs while waiting to move on to the next whack-a-mole. Hunters kill more mobs and do it faster, in the level 40 bracket anyway.

Hunter is an extremely over powered class, I like the hunter class, my hunter is only level 29, but that’s enough to give me a fairly strong grasp on their abilities, taming beasts is an excellent class ability, this is one of those abilities that define a class and distinguish it, it’s simple and these simple concepts that make a class. The hunter class is way too powerful, hunters are basically cheeze mode, as if other classes were actually solo, hunters are like two classes in one once they get their pets, and a lot of their abilities are extremely useful if you know to play them and it’s not a difficult class to play, mark, sick pet, ranged dmg, spam arrow shots, bust out a trap here and there, you win the game. Aspects, feign death, bastard hunters. Why!!!! I can’t wait until I play my hunter again, actually I miss my lock more, I’m not so much concerned with dps, screw destruction so I went affliction and demonology with the lock, a versatile class and definitely one of the more interesting classes I’ve played and I’ve played them all.

Another thing I have noticed is that up until level 25, hunter pets tank better than most warriors, their pets taunt better, their pets will also sustain damage better than a warrior requiring less heals, which is fucking ridiculous, it’s a slap in the face to newb warriors, even if it funny, as a priest you want the most efficient player or npc sustaining damage, so I’ll take a hunter pet in that level range over a warrior with green lewts any day of the week, and even at higher levels, hunter pets are excellent tanks.

Time for shadowform and for me to go melt some faces.
