Beta Testing Opportunity

Beta Guinea Piglet Opportunist, that would be my calling. The MGS Beta Program Induction has just secretly delivered a confidential acceptance e-mail with the above daring and bold content in the subject line. I feel powerful and find myself laughing at all the other plebeians before me salivating on the forums groveling for their chance to frolic with the bearded female dwarves and the furry Rakakkaka characters in Thestra. I’m ecstatic, no really I am, I just screamed at the top of my receding tar filled lungs, “I am one of the chosen ones!” well, it was more of a hack like cough than anything.

The Vanguard beta test alpha * gnome ( 0 - x) = mc 10 phase is in my grasp and I want to celebrate by showing off my new Richard Simmons desktop pictures and dancing too sweating to the oldies for a good 20 minutes!

I am so not flipping excited, I rushed to open and greet my acceptance with welcoming arms, all while in the process deleting twenty other e-mails and tossing my cat like a javelin only too be foiled by the deviant borg and their cabal against my malpha-zega-botting testing skills. FOILED, you foiling foils. foiling fuck foilers! I was robbed of my beta innonence.

Calling all Core Group members.

Rise of Legends needs your help. The next game in the Rise series from Big Huge Games is getting ready to start a Beta and we’d like your participation. The Beta will be starting in the next 2-3 weeks and will run until next spring. Updates of content and bug fixes will be occurring regularly.

This goal of this Beta is to test the game on various PC configurations and with various video cards. We will be collecting bug reports from you both through Centercode and automatically using the in-game and Watson uploading systems. Extensive experience with Real Time Strategy games is not required, though it may make playing the game a bit more fun if you know what you are doing.

The minimum technical requirements in order to participate in the Beta are:

Minimum 64 mb Graphics card that supports Shaders 1.0

Minimum of 128 mb RAM

We will be mailing CDs to anyone who ends up participating. So, please, if you apply ensure that you go to the User Profiles page on the Centercode site and verify your mailing address.

Rise of legends, huh Watson! huh huh huh! How about I huh and rise my foot and thrust it into the genital area of Watson who sent me this despicable atrocious beta offer. What an insult, underestimating the prowess of my testing capacity er. . procrastinating. For now the waiting continues and so does ebay. tick-tock.

I’m sure a few of you may have received a replica of the above e-mail message, but I got it twice and it was 1st print too. +1 beta email invitations! I think I will take up Microsoft on this offer, at least my computer contraption is capable of handing the specifics this game requires… haha.
